Evaluate regularly. Support every learner.
“Evaluation of students and teachers is a key to success in all educational processes.”
At Hira National Education Foundation, we have developed an academic system designed to bring out the best in our students and faculty.
Our system is continuously reviewed and updated according to the needs and challenges of the modern world. It emphasizes regular performance, continuous evaluation, academic progress and character development rather than relying solely on a single final examination.
The system encourages students to remain engaged throughout the academic year and enables teachers and schools to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement and provide timely support.
Academic Session
The academic session is divided into two terms:
First Term
Final Term
Examination & Evaluation Structure
The annual result is based on a total of 300 marks:
| Assessment Component | Aggregate Marks |
|---|---|
| 1st Mid Term Examination | 30 |
| 1st Term Examination | 70 |
| 2nd Mid Term Examination | 30 |
| Final Examination | 70 |
| Vacation Tasks | 50 |
| Behavior / Ethics | 50 |
| Total | 300 |
In addition to these components, regular class tests are conducted as part of the continuous academic process.
Continuous Evaluation
Our system gives importance to consistent performance throughout the year. The two Mid Term Examinations provide opportunities to monitor progress between the major Term Examinations.
The 1st Term Examination and Final Examination provide broader assessments of learning and achievement. This structure helps students to:
Vacation Task
Learning continues beyond the classroom.
Structured learning over the summer break
The Vacation Task carries 50 marks and gives students an opportunity to continue learning during the summer break through structured academic activities.
It encourages students to develop:
- Independent learning
- Creativity
- Application of knowledge
- Responsibility
- Regular study habits
The Vacation Task forms an important part of the overall academic evaluation.
Behavior / Ethics
Character is part of education.
Character alongside achievement
At Hira, academic achievement alone does not represent complete education. A student's conduct, discipline, responsibility and ethical behavior are important aspects of personal development.
Behavior / Ethics carries 50 marks in the annual evaluation and encourages students to develop positive qualities such as:
- Discipline
- Respect
- Honesty and integrity
- Responsibility
- Cooperation
- Punctuality
- Self-control
- Respect for teachers, peers and school property
Through this approach, character building becomes an integral part of the educational process rather than something separate from academic achievement.
Final Result & Promotion
The student's final result is determined by the aggregate marks obtained from all assessment components out of 300 marks. The system recognizes performance across the entire academic session rather than depending on a single examination. Individual student positions are determined on the basis of the final aggregate.
For promotion to the next class, a student must:
Our Educational Approach
The Hira Academic System is built around a simple principle:
Improve Continuously. Develop Completely.
